Hey Everyone,

I just installed Mandrake 8.1 on an old box to play around with. During the install, I only installed KDE as the GUI desktop. Once installation was complete, and I rebooted, I get a command line login. It never goes to the KDE desktop. I looked in /etc/inetd.conf and it has KDE listed as the default desktop. I also ran "rpm -qa | grep kde" and saw that KDE 2.2.1 was installed on the machine. What is the problem, and how do I get to KDE without reinstalling everything? Thank, in advance, for your help.
