I am going to install a PC Card (Large) on a Avaya R7 phone system. What steps will I have to take to have the VM function as voice mail only (No AA). Also, I only want to use 4 boxes with only one extension(10) to have Voice Mail access at this time. At some time in the future I will be activating about 3 more boxes.

Put the card in the slot.
Program Ext. 78 and 79 into Hunt Group 7
Assign Automatic VMS Coverage to Ext. 10
Log into the System Administrator's Mailbox, select option 1 to assign an extension to a mailbox, and change mailbox 4 to Ext. 49, mailbox 3 to Ext. 48, and mailbox 2 to Ext. 47
If you want Ext. 10's mailbox to answer the incoming lines as well, program Ext. 10 as the Call Coverage for the lines.
