Initial remap of drives with new install of XPa FR2?

What should be my steps to ensure drives are remapped before installing a fresh copy of XPa FR2?

I tried installing the software and was never prompted to remap drives. I then uninstalled Citrix and crashed my server,...now I have to rebuild it. Would prefer to avoid this situation again.

There is a driveremap.exe on the root of the Metaframe XP CD. You can reach the tool as on option of the autorun.exe, too.

You have to install the Windows installer update (it´s on the Metaframe XP CD, too) before installing Metaframe XP.
Otherwise your server will crash after uninstalling Metaframe XP

One other best practice point, I found that running that remap.exe as early as possible is of the utmost importance. My standard build order is load Win2K, configure pagefile, remap drives, etc.... I do this as early as humanly possible so that any other steps I take (installing software, configuring security policies, etc...) have the new drive letters prior to doing them. Just a suggestion that works well for me.
