Initial Plug-in: Verifying Application. Happen first sync everyday

I have a user that when he logs in he gets an "Initial Plug-in: Varying Application" message. The message states, "Checking the status of the application of the handheld. This is only required on the first connection of the handheld tot he new desktop installation." Now this is not a new install or a new device. The device is a 957 v2.6 and the desktop is v3.6. Is there a way I can prevent this from happening? The device syncs and then after the verification occurs it sync again.

What's the user's permission on that PC? Try to put his ID under Admin group or Power user group and see if this will help.

Open Application Loader, see if it wants to change anything. If not, force it to back up the unit, erase it, reload the software, and restore the data. You can get to these options by clicking the Advanced button that comes up on the summary screen. I found that clears many problems.
