someone can explain him me what is an INL and has what that serves.

"External backup

There are three directories on external backup used for loading and to which dumping takes place -- one initial load directory (INL) and two reload directories (REL1 and REL2). Their structures and locations in the file system are shown below.

INL contains the program units in initial load format, i.e. all program code and exchange data files to be used at initial load of system or at addition of LIM.

A reload directory contains the system's backup of program code and exchange data. In the normal case REL1 and REL2 are two generations of system dumps."
