INIT SINGLE USERMODE

Hello All,

I've recently updated HP EFS on a server now when it gets to presss CONTROL +D for normal start up it wont let me. I have to enter the root password and enter single usermode. Then when I init 2 the server starts multi usermode without any problems.

Any ideas why i cant CONTROL D?
