Hi all. Running NW5.1 SP6. When I view the Trustees of a folder, everything is fine. But when I choose "Inherited Rights and Filters" I see whatever "real" groups & their rights, then one or more single letter IDs (e.g. "G") that are allegedly inherited from the volume root. So it looks something like:

GROUPA.OU.tree [Sys2\config] SRWECMFA
G [Sys2] SRWECMFA
G [Sys2] R F

I don't see these assigned at the root, and there are no single character objects in the tree. This happens across multiple servers and volumes. The letter isn't always "G" but often is. Some folders can have a dozen or more of these letters.

I need to establish what these rights are, as I'm trying to migrate the data to Windoz :(

Any/all info gratefully received.

Ian
