Hello all,

We normally specialise in the IPO, howerver we have inherited a couple of LDK-24 units, which were setup together via an IP Link. basically, we replaced the system with an IP Office ;-)

anyway, I am after some guidence to reset these to factory defaults so we can possibly use them elsewhere or resell them on.

Ive tried turning the battry off, set #4 DIP to ON and power cycled, but it doesnt appear to reset the IP to 192.168.1.1.

any clues?

many thanks in advance!

I would have been glad to inherit a couple of ipLDK-24's!

Still considered to be the best SOHO PBX for up to 30 users.

OK.
They exist in 2 hardware versions 1.0 and 3.0/3.7.

Logins are default the same, but where the 1.0 only can provide IP trunk, the 3.0/3.7 gives you both IP trunk (H.323 and SIP) and also LG IP phones / LG softphones (for Windows / PC).

But for both systems, the default userid is "admin" and the default password is "admin".

On the processorboard set SW4, dip 1 to 4 to ON and
SW2 (battery back-up) set to OFF.
The power OFF and then ON again.

If you can't ping the default IP address of 192.168.1.1,
then contact the costumer, where it has been installed before to get the correct IP address.

When you get this correct ip address, just browse it and logon with the logins provided. Hereafter go to Network Admin (under the Status field) and you can change the IP address and password.
After this the configuration must be saved:
I Network Admin under the field Configuration you find the field: Save configuration. Wait a while and a message will tell you that the configuration has been saved.

Hope that you can use this!

thanks for the advice. i dont think the customer knows the IPs anymore as the previous maintainer is long gone - hence why we switched them out.

all the boards in it say rev 1.3 or 1.5 - apart from that not much else.

You can not reset the IP address and passwords by setting the SW2/SW4 switches. To logon you need to browse the IP address, as described.
Are the ipLDK-24 equipped with a serial port, near the power supply, then it is possible to login through Hyperterminal (9600/8 bits /No parity/1 stopbit), and enter the logins as described.
Or maybe you can scan for the ip addresses.

Also, if possible, from a digital phone, try to press [TRANS/PGM]+72 and post the result. This is the s/w levvel, that I would like to know.

unfortunately no serial ports - someone never filled the slots with serial cards......

ill dig out a handset and see what software they have.
