Hello,
I am trying to understand the situation with a directory's permissions. I have the following directory structure:
Drive E:\Shared\User\Add Systems\Equipment
Nowhere in the E, Shared, User or Add Systems directories can I find a group called "Domain Guests"; however, this group is included in the Equipment directory's CACL. Furthermore, when I click the Advanced button on the Security tab for this directory, on the Permissions tab, I see that in this group's permission entry, in the "Inherited from" column, it has the value "Parent object". How can this directory inherit this permission from the parent when the parent does not include this group?
Thanks,
T-Tops
