Inherited Allowed Senders to nested DLs

Does anyone know if the Allowed Senders ACL is inherited if a Distribution List contains other DLs (query or normal)?

For example, if User A is granted send-to rights to DL-AllUsers (which specifies DL-SubContractors, among other objects, as a member), does User A automatically have the ability to send to DL-SubContracts when sending to DL-AllUsers or does DL-SubContractors also need to have User A specified in it's Allowed Senders list?

I hope this makes sense and thanks for your help.
