I currently own a Nortel Norstar, MICS 6.1, with a Cinphony ACD I and am pretty much maxed in my existing site, which is fine because I do not have the seats to accomodate any more employees. We will be opening a second site about a mile away so that we can allow for additional growth within the next few months, and wanted to weigh out my options to ensure my purchase is cost effective and allows for growth in the future.

In 3 years once our lease is up at our original site, there is a possibility that we will either lease additional space in this new site to accomodate all employees if available or will look for another site in which we can all collectively move together as well as allow for growth.

This second site will house approximately 150-170 users most of which will make up our Call Center. Therefore we will need ACD capabilities there, and no longer at our original site.

I realize one possible option would be to add another Norstar at the new site, install the ACD there, and purchase a point-to-point between the two sites. However, I may still eventually run out of extensions, and additionally I will need to upgrade my ACD to accomodate the growth.

This leads me to my question; what other options should I look into? Someone suggested the Intertel system, however I am reluctant due to the lack of name recognition.

All suggestions are appreciated!

the BCM might be where you want to go. the IP users could all be at the remote site and you could keep the existing telephone sets at the base location.
