Hi there,

I am using Crystal Reports XI with Crystal Reports SErver in Infoview.

It seems that when I schedule a report to run and email I have a problem when I try and add a file as an attachment. In order to attach a file, you click the attach file check box and then schedule. However the first time it runs, the file does not attach, you need to go back in and reschedule and retick the box to get this to work.

Does anyone know how to get this working first time?

Are you using "With automatically generated name" or "Specific Name"...?

I am using Specific Name, then entering a name along with the date and extension.

Try it first with "With automatically generated name"...then play around with simple names like RPT1, etc.

Some characters in user-entered text names can cause problems on the SMTP side.
