I am primarily an Avaya installer/programmer. I recently got involved in making some program changes on a Infoset 408. All I have for documentation is sect 6 of the manual which is programming with a telephone. I was able to make all the changes but could not figure out how to save them. I tried "transfer" as I believe this is what the IPK uses & program entry in it is the same as an Infoset. Tried every button combination I could think of but could not get rid of the "programming data" display. Finally I powered down the system .The back up batteries ran down in about a minute & the system shut off. I powered up & voila,all my changes were saved. Did I miss something in the manual? I reread it several times & never found any reference to saving changes. Any help/comments appreciated. Thanks
