Informix Ontape

Hello Everyone,

We're running Informix Dynamic Server 7.3 on Solaris 7.

We run a level 0 backup using ontape every night.

We've been backing up our logical logs to /dev/null until recently.

We've now installed another DAT drive on the system for the logs (in case of failure during the day).

Does anyone have a script sample that shows how to capture the log number displayed on screen during an ontape backup.
