Informix Error Codes / Message Strings???

Does anyone know if there is a list of possible error codes or message strings logged to the online.log documented somewhere? If there is, then I would appreciate the list as I would like to set up monitoring for the possible errors codes / message strings.

If anyone out there has come across any particular error messages / codes please forward along.

Forgive me if I elaborate on the obvious in any of these steps:

1) Informix has an Error Message manual. If you don't have a hard copy, get a PDF at:

IBM has most of the other informix documentation available also.

Generally, there's a text version. On my Solaris 7.31 Informix, it's located in the Informix home directory:

/usr/informix/msg/en_us/0333/errmsg.txt

2) Of course, you are probably aware of the informix finderr utility:

finderr <err num>

Lastly, tek-tips also has 3 informix forums with the Online forum being:

You probably will get faster answers to your informix questions over there.
