informix client connection error

hie ,

i have an informix server and several client machines.
on one specific machine, when i load the informix client and try to run an application (which connects to the server) i get the following error:
General SQL error. Specified driver could no be loaded due to system error 1157 (informix cli 2.5).

Hi,
Did you try to test the connection with the ILOGIN Tool from CSDK ??? It should give you an possible connect.
Did you check the setnet32 program for the connection configuration ?

Hi,
do the ff:

1. check the path of your Informix Connect directory. it should be added to autoexec.bat
2. add the port number on client's services.
3. test the connection through DBping of Informix connect.
