I've a BCM50 R6 with a informational mail box setup for the receptionist to dump marketing people into. It state after the message is played, "exiting the system, goodbye" Apparantly some caller dialed 0 and came back mad as hell at the receptionist.
Any way to disable default target attendant in an informational mail box?

Not sure but I would just disable 0 and tell callers to press X for info which under path X you point to an info mailbox.

Reception can also transfer callers to that info box.

Are you sure it is a information mailbox, sounds like a subcriber.

No, I built it. It's informational. You can't set a target attendant on informational mail boxes. All you can do is record a message. I'm guessing that ability to dial zero and go to the receptionist, can't be removed.

Create a Subscriber mailbox.
Record the Alternate greeting as your info
Set The Leave Message option to NO
Change the Target Attendant to the DN of your choice.

I'll give that a try Curly. Thank you!!!

I changed a class of service for informational only mail boxes and left the allow target attendant checked. I unchecked this and zeroing out don't work anymore. Problem solved.
