Information Store size converting from 5.5

Does anyone know what happens to the size of the information store (priv.edb) when upgrading / converting from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003?

My clients priv.edb is currently a bit over 14GB.
They have purchased Exchange 2003 (not enterprise) for the enhanced features, so I'm still dealing with the 16GB limit.

Will upgrading increase the size of the Information Store, or will it remain the same?
