I need following information regarding Unixware 7:-

1.During installation, there are certain selected Timezones displayed. For example under Asia, we have Singapore or China. How to set the timezone to Indian Standard Time?

2.Sco Unixware documentation can be accessed from a web browser running on other pc on the network using the address: name>:457

Is it possible to run scoadmin the same way?

3. For configuring 2nd cpu in the os, we need to install osmp package. But the installation requires certain patches to be present.Where from we can get the information regarding this and get the required patch?

Thanks In Advance

Hi Rajesh,

I think any time zone doesn't make diffrence for India. Because here in USA and many other countries they change their time twice in a year it is called "day light saving". Still I don't know the purpose of "Day Light Saving". As per my knowladge the time zone selection is required to change the system clock timing automatically on specific date of the year. so if you select any time zone that has no change throughout the year then it will serve your purpose.

The second question is out of my reach.

you may find Unixware documantation from caldera at you may search there for multi processor configuration & its patches.

Take care & Have nice time
Bharat
