IS-IT--Management
Hello POS Gurus-
I work for a 3rd party company and we've just had our first exposure to an application Radiant has called "Guest Manager". We have software integrated which has worked fine in over 150 locations but suddenly last week two locations began crashing and the restaurant concepts suspected our software. Ironically enough, the IT staff happened to mention they had just fully integrated something called "Guest Manager" but had failed to mention this. We're not super familiar on how it works from a technical standpoint. In other words, I've seen that it has functionality for reservations and section assignments, even table holds, but I'm interested in finding out how this works. Do the tables themselves get flagged with some sort of lock or reserve file? Has anyone seen any complications or exceptions thrown as a result? Does Guest Manager also generate debout files like EDC and the POS system? Any sort of information would be greatly appreciated!!
The Aloha POS version is 6.5,
Thanks-
