We had to STARTUP a MICS 7.0 because we were changing the entire dialing plan and expanding the entire system to add about 30 additional sets by adding new DID numbers and I wanted to start fresh since this system was put in about 10 years ago and I am the new vendor.
Everything went well, PRI codes reentered ok. The only strange thing is that when a I try to transfer a call to an information MB 2601 which is used to provide callers with updated event information each week when I F986 2601 the caller is routed back to the Main Menu of the AA. When I try to dial 2601 from the AA it says "Exiting the system, goodbye". This is a NAM 4.1.
I have set up this type of installation many times in the past but this is the first time I have encountered this problem.
The DID's are 2300 thru 2399
Information and Virtual DN's are 2600-2699
Any idea what is going on?
"A phone is a phone and not a computer workstation".
