Information about Ms SQL 2000 Server

Hello,

I need some information about MS SQL 2000 Server..

How many Databases can SQL 2000 handle?
If there are multiple Databases, how are they distributed... example: how many databases per server, and whether 25/7 coverage or just 0800 - 1700 weekday coverage.
