Information about DID... how it work?

Hi everyone.. I´m new into the Merdian and I´d like to know everything about the DID trunks, since the beginning, how they work, where can I access them, how to identify problems, their meaning, about their connection with the routes, how to change them, how to use them, everything, like a manual, but I haven´t seen one like this, just little pieces of information.

If you also have information of E&M, COTS, WATS, all trunks types information it will be welcomed...
