Does anyone use the product on this board? We are about to (in the next 90 days) compare this product against the customer’s existing MICROS 8700 & 9700. Is it easy to maintain? I think it uses MS Access? It seems that they strictly use IBM terminals (I'm not a fan of the service)? The site needs handhelds, they seem to use Ameranth, and not their own stuff. If that’s true, does it need another server? How was their installation, were the sales promises and total quote equal to what you got? They press hard on ROI, how much of that was true in the end? I heard from coworkers that you get a price, then a ton of incidentals mid-install after they have your business? This customer has multiple hotels, all are 4 star destinations, needs handhelds for the outside seating and beach, PMS is Fidelio, and ranges from 14 terminals to 26, they need a common giftcard offering, and possibly Kiosk for the sundry/incidental shop near the lobby on off hours. Have you heard if they have a Kitchen Monitor option?

Separately, we are looking at report and CRM consolidation, mymicros.net is the front runner at this point (giftcards included). With that said, does Revelation interface to mymicros.net?

I would love the feedback, I’m not looking for the sales folks reading this to reply. I know I have a lot of questions, any comments would help.

Thanks in advance.

I see Infogeneis all over in Las Vegas clubs, and casinos. I feel that's a pretty impressive and positive thing.
I didn't notice that it was Infogenesis Revelation, but it may be.

I would contact them directly regarding your feature requests.

I have worked with both Micros 8700/9700 and Infogen they both are good systems and are all over Vegas but that's the only place infogen is, because of the price.

Micros's mymicros.net is an excellent product compared to others of its kind. They also have a customer loyalty/gift card service called icard that intergrates very nice. Micros also has the KDS (kitchen display system).

mymicors can interface with any other POS system, however you will have to pay for it and if it's a system they haven't done then expect cost to be a lot.

hope this helps.
