Hi All,
So here's what's happening. We finally got around to upgradeing from 7.0 to 7.5. but now the web server seems to hang. All 7.0 servers were running NT with service pak 6, and all was well. When we decided to upgrade some changes were made. Here's the procedure we followed.
1 Backed up the input and output directories.
2 Copied the Cinfo.mdb file to the backup disk.
3 Took down the APS server.
4 On a completley new box installed W2000 and then Info 7.5
(all componets except web)
5 Restored all back ups.
6 Uninstalled the 7.0 web apps from the web server.
7 Installed the 7.5 web apps to the same server.
When the system hangs,I stop and restart the sentinel on the web server and all is well for a short period of time, then it hangs again. I've tried running the sentinel as a automated service, a manual service and a process. Same results. I'm convinced that this is a web component issue becuase Info runs just fine from a client using a LAN connection.
Any ideas ???????
Thx
