Info on UTP and STP

Almost all of the major providers of structured wiring systems have nice technical papers on their websites. You might start with Leviton, Ortronics, Berktek, Tyco (AMP), Graybar, Anixter for a few. If you go to these companies web sites, you can find some very good white papers on the technoloogy, and usually you can find papers explaining the use of the technology.
Assuming you have web access, go to and do a search for the specific things you are looking for. You will quite likely find a few links right off the bat that cover what you need. I don't know of one website that covers it all.
