Does anyone have any info on installing a spare LSP pair of s8700 servers? I have a customer that currently has a pair of 8700's in one location and would like to install a backup pair in a remote location for LSP of the primary pair. I have searched support.avaya.com high and low and cannot seem to find anything. I do have one doc that a sales rep has given me but does not include specific details. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As I understand it, you can do server separation with the S8700 boxes. In other words, you can separate the 2 processors up to 10 miles.

Hello,

You cannot have S8700 as LSP, it is not supported, only S8300 server can operate in LSP mode. The best thing is to separate the two S8700 servers as "4merAvaya" proposed...
