Hi,
Running Info 7 MR2 (on w2k), with the APS database MS SQL Server 6.5. The cubes run off a table in a production database which is refreshed with data hourly. Problem is that when the cube is run, it doesn't seem to be using the current data in the table. If I empty out the table though, the cube fails since there isn't any information to build the dimensions with. This has all been working fine for a while. Noted a message in the event log 'Sentinel terminated while APS still active', increased the minimum disk space which stopped that problem. Also checked the runtimeimage table using dbcc and all seems well there. Any ideas?
Thanx.

So when the cube runs and completes, how old is that data? Does the cube ever pick up on new data in the table?
Can you see the current table data through a SQL client on the Info server?
Also, to cube off SQL server you have to use the OLEDB gateway. CAn you build a regukar report off that table connecting with OLEDB?

Thanx for the response. After working on trying to isolate the problem a bit more, I've narrowed it down to the date dimension. If set to show all the days of the week, the data is displayed correctly, as per the data in the table. If though, I limit the date dimension to only Wednesday (in this case) the data seems to go hay-wire...
To answer your questions though:
The data in the cube (the incorrect version) I don't know which 'version' of the data this is. I assume though it was a true data set at some stage since the problem was only reported by a user in last week.
SQL Client - yes.
I'm using ODBC instead and its been working fine.

Any further input would be much appreciated.
