Info 7.5 Scheduler getting parameters from SQL2000 database

I require the scheduler to read a SQL 2000 database table and launch reports using parameters from the database. The parameters being the names of the report, salesperson name and email address. Am I too optimistic. I can achieve this with a separate VB application that is triggered by the Info schedular. Is it possible purely within Info.
