I could not telnet to my primary HACMP server from the secondary server. It would get to establishing connection and no further. On the primary server, the lssrc -a command would not report anything. It would hang. I logged out of the primary server and could not log in. I turned off the primary server and re-booted. After re-booting everthing seems to be working fine. What happened? Was it inetd?

I'm guessing you ran out of memory. Does errpt show anything?

That is what I thought. Nothing is in the error report. Sometimes paging will cause that, but that was fine also.

I would recommend that you monitor the server for a while to see your memory consumption.

vmstat will do the biz!

Regards,
Khalid
