I was looking at job ads today and found something in the area that required me to have an Inet+ certification. I did a little searching and it seems to be some sort of A+ test for the Internet.

I'm probably going to take the test, but my funds are limited. Can I study by taking the internet-based practice tests, or should I buy a book?

Look up which is the company that admininsters the (+) certs. You could also look on Creamsesion.com for study guides. Most of the (+) certs are geared toward basic skills and if you already have some experience, you should be able to pass the tests through low-cost or free study guides.

I haven't lost my mind - I know it's backed up on tape somewhere ....

Woops, I meant cramsession.com.

(Really need to lighten up on the sauce at work......) :)

Well, I signed up for the test. If you look around, you'll find out that they're beta testing a new INet+ test, and that it's only 90$. Compared to the regular Inet+ test which is 190$

Geez, what a racket.
