OK, after reading the threads I could find on FTP, I've decided that I should use the Indy FTP components. But I'm CLUELESS on what I need to do. Which components do I need? How do I specify the file to be sent? Can anyone give me the "Dummies Guide to INDY FTP in a NutShell"?

Thanks for any information!

I don't like to pass the buck, but the Indy help file does have all the necessary information. Go to and grab the latest stable Indy 9 download, as well as their help file, and the FAQ. That will get you started. If you run into problems, then come back here with specific issues.

If you're really after something to hold your hand, apparently the Indy In Depth e-book is good, but I haven't read it.

Thanks, I'll check out that link. The only example I could find was the Delphi Demos and that created a whole FTP application and all I need to do is send a specific file to a specific host at the users request! It was a little too much for me. Hopefully, I'll be able to get something working now!
