Industry trends in db selection

Hi,

Does anyone know of any websites that contain data on industry trends in dbms vendor selection - esp. in the financial industry?

For example,
...Over past 3 years which dbms' have been on the rise at banks and why etc..?
...How the big 3(ora, sql, db2) compare..?

Better go to Gartner, they know such things much better

Still, this is a Tek-forum, so don't expect well-researched answers, it's all by everybodys experience. And each bank or manufacturer or insurance - having a different portfolio gives you a different answer.
