Individual Logins

hi, can someone tell me how to create logins for my field IT staff? i want to create logins and restrict them to Loads 20, 21 and 22 but don't know how.

You don't want them to have access to the print routes 20,21 and 22 or that's all you want them to have rites to?

those are the only loads i want them to have access to. how do i create them? i think it's done in LD 2, but i don't know how.

do you have pdw2? if so are you using login names now? if so go to 22 and prt pwd and then to 17 and change pwd.. only 4 prompts, the name the password and the loads.. you can enter all or just the loads one per line.. hint if you did want all the loads except, say 13.. add one with all then do another change and x13.. you only need one pwd if all they can do is print.. all of them can use the same one at the same time.. some sites i've help build had one for 20-22 and 95 with just the login name admin

thanks to everyone for the tips. one last thing. how come when i print the CFN in LD 22, i don't see any of the PWD info?

you're not going to see it if you're printing CFN, you will if you print PWD and have the 2nd level password, because it will prompt you.

what software level are you on, because Succession 4.5 has changed a bit in the way you change passwords.
