Individual logins for site directories

I have been asked to help with the website for the Church/School that my kids attend. The site is already up and running - mostly been working on presentation. I've been asked to do something I don't know how to do. They want a web-page for each teacher to use to post homework assignments and information to parents. We don't want to give all the teachers full access to the site. Is there a way we can create a directory (and sub-directories) for each teacher, and give them login capabilities for the area only?

Hi mate,

Do a search for htaccess.

This will provide the login capability and you can use different usernames + passwords for each directory.

I have a htaccess generator on my design site that you can use but the password app only works for Windows servers so it may not work for you.
