One more question.......

How can I find the indial number and range for the switch?

Cheers

DFB

ld 20

req: ludn will give you all the available DNS to program. Just look for the range of DID (use this term instead of indial) numbers you have and you are in business.

from the switch, you can't list the did range. either get that from your bill or from your provider. the usually come in groups of 100 if that helps.

could look in the idc table? could give you a idea? or if there is nothing in there then the extns must match some part of teh did.

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

Thanks to all,

Its not the DN's I'm after, its the Pstn Number I dial to get to them DN's.

Ive been told to look at CLID in ld 21????? I'll try that as well.

might be if it's set up right, not very likely. that is the only place your likely to find it. the ldn may be the 1st 3 or 4 digit number of your range. the length of the ldn will tell you the number of digits you rec from the co. is the problem, no one know the did, nxx ... ? that would be strange. call the provider
