Anyone have a copy of a ds1 config to share for a voice e1 in India? I used hdb3/etsi/isdn-pri as the main settings and for signaling just standard port 16 of the board and I'm getting nothing. testing the SG comes back with a 636-pass / 639-abort / 637-abort and 647-fail. Carrier isn't being super cooperative, but I just want to make sure my end of the config is correct. I think they have the D-channel busied or looped or the cable extended from the smartjack to the MM is incorrect.

Is anyone using the field 'disable restarts ? ' in the ds1 form? By default it is set to 'n'. Is anyone using this set to 'y' and what is the reason? This new circuits d channel is up now, but the b-channels are half up and dropping. I changed that field to 'y' and it's been up for a while now and want to know if anyone has used that to solve this specific issue.

Yes. I've used the disable restarts.

I usually to prevent isdn channels in FE-PINS state

India isdn is mostly Etsi. Ogten you have to duck with Crc.

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

yea crc was definitely one of the fixes, but even after that the circuit was inconsistent. I then changed that disable restarts to Y and it stayed up. So, not fully sure that's what did it, but..

Not sure what MG you have but you mentioned MM, I am guessing an MM board. Did you check your clock source and disable switching over to local in the MG? Not really sure if it relates to E1s but these are the notes I made after having several issues with system switching to local clock. Something missing from the end is to disable switching.
