I have a corrupted file that I am trying to reindex
using the rebuild command and it keeps on bombing out
giving me a "error on input file - status 9/018".
My rebuild version is 3.2.46.

Any suggestions?

Your data file is corrupt also. You must ask REBUILD to reorganize that. The syntax is:
Code: 
    REBUILD old_file,new_file /D
[/code)
Then back up the old file, delete it, and rename the new to the old.
