I want to insert a table into a website. The table will have five columns - three of which I would like to be capable of being indexed, one would contain a 50k jpg file and the fifth column would just be a memo field.

Does anyone know how I can run the table over several web pages without losing the index? I have about 50-60 rows and because of the jpg sizes, I would like to keep it to 10 rows to a page.

I am fairly new to web design and would be grateful for any advice.

Thanks,

Mike

assuming you are talking about a database table you'll need to be looking into pagination. So depending on the server-side code

forum333 for ASP
forum434 for PHP

Check the FAQs for whichever one you need.

Thanks Chris. I was looking at ASP.NET rather than PHP as I am better with Access than MySQL and this will integrate well with some software I've written.

I've been studying 2 books since Friday as an intro to ASP - ASP.Net Web Development with DW MX2004 and ASP.Net Unleashed. Despite the latter being 1400+ pages, it does not cover pagination. So I will pick up what I can from the ASP link you gave.

Thanks,

Mike
