Can we create an Index at the end of the report for the values/words in the report.
EX:
123 John Doe Company Page No 3
456 Smith And Smith Page No 57
..................etc.
I have created the formula giving the info exactly as I need. I have assigned it to a stringvar. I am getting the correct results printed/displayed in the relevant group footer. I want to print/display all these values in one section (at the report footer) like you see an index at the back of a book. The 255 character max for text field or text box is restricting any concatenation etc. Is there a solution?

so, your problem is only on how to display the results, right ? it's not how to get them or whatever ...
do you *have to* display them in textboxes or textareas ?? coz document.write/ln or element.innerHTML do the trick fine enough !!!
are you using some kind of server side language ? coz it's even easier to build your page from server side !
