Hi all:
Firstly, thank you for taking the time out to help me.
Now, I wanted to do an index where a user can select a state and the school comes up according to the state. Does anyone have an example of this that I can see how it is done. please.
Also would it be a problem with PHP that it has to go through 7k records to match it with the state selected and bring back everything that falls under that state. Or should I be doing this another way?
Thanks
Zishan

If you are using MySQL, then PHP doesn't have to go through 7k of records. MySQL does. And if you have set up indeces where you need them, MySQL can search through that few records very quickly and efficiently.
