Hi,
I hope I'm posting this in the right area, only I didn't see a forum for Avaya Index systems?
Anyway, my question is this: is it possible to sync the system time (i.e. the time and date that appears in the LCD display of the connected phone handsets - Avaya 2030's in our case) to an NTP time source?
We have an internal NTP time server setup, and I'd like to sync the time on the Index to this time server. The reason for this is I keep manually having to change the time every month, as it keeps gaining time.
Our Index software version is v9.0, if this helps. I also believe that the Index software runs on some kind of NT server and was wondering if it takes its time from this machine? If I can sync this machine to our time server, will this resolve the system time issues on the Index?
If at all possible, I don't want to have to upgrade the version of Index, but if this is the only way, I guess we will have to.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.
Kind Regards,
Greg
