I am just wondering if it is possible to index files stored on a NAS using MS Index Server. I am using a Procom NetForce 2500 NAS but kind of think this could be generalized to all NAS devices. Generally speaking, is it possible to index files on a network share? Naturally, the index option would not be available on the righ-click menu for files on the NAS device. But is there any other way to do it?
