index.html has to be index.php 1

I have a webpage [URL unfurl="true"]www.web.com/dir/index.php[/URL] but if i do [URL unfurl="true"]www.web.com/dir/[/URL] the browser doesn't find index.php. How can I do with a .htacess file the browser shows the php file??

you need to put the Apache directive

DirectoryIndex index.php

in either the httpd.conf or the .htaccess file for that directory. I usually put several other files in the DirectoryIndex

DirectoryIndex index.php index.html index.shtml
