Indesign2 font problems!

Hi,
I'm having a strange font problem with "the marvellous" Indesign2: I have 2 documents open, in one it states that Interstate is missing, (although i can select the font when i change to a bold or compressed, etc, nothing happens!)
- In the other docu Interstate functions perfectly, and i can see the changes on screen (amazing!!!)
- When i open a new document and try Interstate, then i have no problems, it's all very strange!
Have i missed something? has anyone got any tips/ideas?

Try a find/replace of the font with itself. You may need to replace with another font and then replace that back with Interstate. This should kick InDesign in the seat.
