I am a fairly new InDesign user and have started generating XML files for use on the web. I've generated an XML document from an InDesign CS2 doc.
I'm getting a weird character at the end of all my paragraphs - it looks like a square character (see example below).
<b1>Do not use the BACK button on the browser window to move between screens.?</b1>
The folks using my XML says that the square box character translates to this:


Forgive me if this is a rookie question, but the only thing I can see that this may represent is a carriage return/enter keystroke. Is this something that is coming from my document or their software?
Any ideas?
