Is there any way to prevent InDesign from putting a copy in the original folder of a template ID file when it is opened? I noticed that if you open a template through InDesign it will not place a copy in the original folder. However, if you double click the template on your hard drive, it places a copy file in the same folder. When I used quark, it would not do that. Please let me know if there is a solution (other than just opening the file through InDesign)

Drag the template icon onto your InDesign app icon (in the dock, if you're on a Mac)...that will open a new, untitled document. Hope that helps.

Anyboby know how can I get the Indesign CD number 2 with all the templates?

thanks
