indesign starts without tools & plugins

ANYONE, PLEASE...
I am losing my mind!!
I install (completely legal) the complete adobe CS including indesign.
I make documents without problems. The next day i can open the file but cannot do anything else, because there are no tools!
I deleted indesign and installed it again, the same thing happens. AFTER RESTART INDESIGN IS USELESS!!!
Does anyone have any idea what's the problem????
I have a G4 OSX 10.3.5

Have you trashed the preferences? Buggy preferences may remain even if you reinstall. You can find these preferences somewhere in your system's or user's 'Library' folder. Dig in there until you find Adobe InDesign's preferences. (I'm not at a Mac now so I cannot be certain of the location - - but it's somewhere in the Library folder)

Yes, i have done that too...
That's always step one..
1.remove pref.
2.restart program
3. restart mac
4. reinstall program

Did i still miss anything?
more suggestions?
