indesign::print greyscale::epson photo 1290 A3plus

hi, this is really urgent, i have an epson stylus photo 1290 S A3plus printer, unfortenatly i dont have any colour ink left in the printer, i just need to be able to print several documents from indesign and black and white would be fine, now i found no option that allows me to do so, in the printer dialog box from indesign i set the output to greyscale, automatically in the printers dialog box it sets itself to black, now ive tried to set the document to greyscale in the colour settings, but there is no option for it, i have pictures aswell,can anybody help me urgently???

I'm not sure about the 1290, but I have a 1270. I ran out of color ink and the printer won't allow me to print anything, not even black. My guess is you have to get a color cartridge to get it to work at all.
