Indesign Linking to WebDav Folder

I am trying to place an image from a WebDav folder in Indesign and have the link maintained to the WebDav Folder. Indesign appears to be copying the Image file to my IE temp folder and setting the link to point to that templocation!!!??
Any suggestion sto disable this ?
